Fraudsters are terrorizing Ukrainians in the name of the tax service through 'Diia': promising to return money.

The State Tax Service warns citizens about a new fraudulent method that is spreading. Scammers are sending emails that resemble official messages from the 'Diia' application, promising citizens an annual tax refund.
In recent days, we have recorded a mass distribution of emails that look like official messages from 'Diia', - said the tax service. - The purpose of such letters is to deceive citizens and obtain their confidential data.
Fraudsters have created a fake website that closely resembles the state portal ID.GOV.UA. On this phishing site, the scammers publish misleading information about the annual tax refund and offer citizens 'mandatory identification'.
The main goal of these actions is to compel people to voluntarily provide their personal data. Scammers require to specify last name, first name, mobile phone number, and, most dangerously, bank card details, including the CVV code.
The tax service warns that personal data obtained in this way may be used for unauthorized access to bank accounts and withdrawal of funds.
Earlier, 'Gazmerezhi' warned about the distribution of fake letters on behalf of gas workers.
