During the operation, the Israel Defense Forces drone detected several terrorists setting up an explosive device near the troops, struck them accurately, and eliminated them.
Not far from the tunnel, soldiers found a weapons cache that stored about 20 explosive devices and anti-tank missiles.

On Saturday, the Israeli military completed the encirclement of the city of Rafah in southern Gaza. This was part of a plan to capture additional areas of the enclave. Since March 18, the military has demanded that Palestinians leave the city, forcing them to leave the limited space by the sea.

On the evening of April 6, Hamas militants shelled Israel with rockets, and in response, the IDF will expand the offensive in the Gaza Strip.
