Russian Army Attacked Kharkiv Region Earlier Than Planned - Media.

Russia began its offensive on the Kharkiv region much earlier than planned, reports The Telegraph.
According to media information, due to the premature offensive of the occupiers on the Kharkiv region, other units that were supposed to simultaneously advance on the Donbas were not properly prepared.
"The Russians started their offensive on Kharkiv about a month before it was planned," said Michael Kofman, a senior fellow at the Carnegie Endowment.
The idea of an early start was to surprise the Ukrainians, but it also surprised the Russians. The 4th Army Corps, designated to participate in the operation in the Donbas, had not yet completed training and was a month behind before the real assaults began.
When the Kharkiv operation began to fail, the Russian high command withdrew troops from the Donbas to direct them north.
"Perhaps this delay saved the Ukrainians from defeat," the publication writes.
