Russian missile corvettes deployed near Finland
Near the border with Finland on Lake Ladoga, two Russian missile corvettes of the «Buyan-M» class have been stationed. They are located 30 miles from Finland, near one of the residences of Russian President Vladimir Putin. Observers call this deployment a response to the growing tension between Russia and NATO, especially after Finland's accession to the alliance. In addition to military might, this is also a political signal and a means of controlling the situation in the Lake Ladoga area.
