The state must prioritize the development of green energy – German investor.

Regional Director of Notus Energy, Oleksandr Podprugin, stated that the state must prioritize the development of green energy in Ukraine by adopting specific decisions and measures that will stimulate investors. According to him, mere declarations about the necessity of building new power plants are not enough.
In most countries where Notus operates, this (construction of RES - ed.) is a priority. And not just at the level of words and promises, but at the level of their implementation. Ukraine, however, differs negatively in this regard.
Donors and investors whose activities are related to Ukraine particularly feel the gap between declarations and actual support. They do not feel a strategic priority given to green energy.
According to Podprugin, to attract investments in the construction of new green power plants, it's necessary to reform the electricity market so that investors understand the state's movement towards minimizing market regulation, which complicates the conditions and guarantees of investment returns.
Ukraine is losing competition for private investments compared to neighboring European countries. This is due to more complex logistics, insurance costs due to war risks, and higher construction costs due to increased deadlines. Therefore, it is necessary to create favorable conditions for potential investors to choose Ukraine.
State enterprise asks to recover debt from "Energoatom"
It is also reported that the state enterprise "Guaranteed Buyer" is filing a lawsuit against "Energoatom" to recover 14.4 billion UAH of debt. Experts believe that the government should ensure the provision of bank loans to "Energoatom" so that the company can settle its debts in the energy market and expedite the construction of new green energy capacities.
