Forecaster Natalia Didenko reported what weather is expected in Ukraine on Christmas Eve and Christmas.
'On Christmas Eve, December 24, we will not have cold weather. During the day, the air temperature will be +2 to +4 degrees, and in the central part, south, and southeast it will be even warm, +4 to +9 degrees, in Crimea +10 to +15 degrees,' - reported the forecaster.
In the western part of the country, fresher conditions may occur, with temperatures ranging from -1 to +2 degrees.
Wet snow is expected in the western regions, and by the evening it may reach Zhytomyr and Chernihiv regions. In the rest of the territory, no precipitation is forecast for Wednesday.
The wind will be moderate from the eastern direction, and in the south, it will be gusty.
In Kyiv on December 24, significant precipitation is also not expected. The temperature at night will be close to zero, and during the day +2 to +4 degrees.
'On December 25, Christmas, snow is expected in the western regions and rain in the southern part, while no precipitation is anticipated in the rest of the territory. The air temperature will remain virtually unchanged, but at night in western Ukraine it will be -2 to -6 degrees. However, during the day it will be +1 to +6 degrees,' - added the forecaster.
