France may transfer additional Mirage 2000 fighters to Ukraine.

French President Emmanuel Macron suggests that Ukraine may receive more Mirage 2000 aircraft from France. According to Le Parisien, he pointed to the possibility of providing additional aircraft that are of the same type of fighter jets in service.
The recent interception of a Russian missile by a Ukrainian Mirage 2000 has received a lot of attention. Therefore, Macron noted that additional aircraft may be supplied from third countries that also have Mirage 2000s.
At the same Time, France is actively working to expedite the delivery of missiles and drones that Ukraine considers to be priorities. This is reported by La Dépêche, citing Macron.
In a previously published interview with Le Parisien, Macron emphasized that Ukraine, as a sovereign state, has the right to invite allied countries to deploy peacekeeping contingents. This decision does not depend on Russia. He also noted that Europe does not need permission from the Kremlin for such a decision.
According to Macron, countries may deploy their military units in strategically important cities such as Kyiv, Lviv, and Odesa. This does not imply the presence of a large military contingent, but a small number of troops for training and support of Ukraine.
France provides Ukraine with security guarantees and creates the best conditions for negotiations. President Macron emphasized four main security guarantees that contribute to stable and lasting peace.
