Ukrainians who lost their homes due to the war can receive compensation through the Diia portal
Now Ukrainians who lost their homes due to the war can submit an application for compensation for destroyed property through the Diia portal. Earlier, this option was only available through the Diia mobile application.
According to the Ministry of Reintegration, the application needs to be submitted to receive a housing certificate for the purchase of a new home or funds for reconstruction on one's own land if a private house was destroyed.
To submit an application, it is necessary to:
- Log in to the Diia portal.
- Click on "Service Catalog", section "For Citizens", and choose "Land, Construction, Real Estate".
- Select the service "Compensation for damaged or destroyed property".
- Choose the object and type of compensation (housing certificate or cash payment) and fill out the form.
- Check the data and sign the application using an electronic signature.
Additionally, the application can be submitted at any Administrative Service Center. That is, not only in the community where the destroyed property is located, but across Ukraine.
