Summer at the resorts of Bulgaria: How much will a night in a hotel cost.

The cost of accommodation on the northern Black Sea coast will increase this summer. Price increases are expected in various categories of hotels. Stanislav Stoyanov, Vice President of the Union of Hoteliers of Golden Sands, noted that the average price will increase by 10-15%, but some higher-class hotels will raise prices by as much as 20%. This is related to the overall economic trends in the country.
According to Stoyanov, the cost of staying in three-star hotels will rise from 100 to 120-125 leva per night. This represents an increase of approximately 20-25%. Such growth is caused by several factors, including inflation, rising taxes, wages, and utility costs. The industry is trying to maintain competitive prices, but rising costs require adjustments.
Despite the price increases, early bookings for the summer season have been active, which is partially attributed to Bulgaria's entry into the Schengen zone.
It is worth noting that Bulgaria faced a staffing crisis ahead of the summer season. Only at Sunny Beach, there is a need for 100,000 employees.
