The Ministry of Defense will conduct a comprehensive check of the Command of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has initiated a large-scale inspection of the Command of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
This was reported by Defense Minister Rustem Umerov on his social media on January 2.
The main inspection of the department will carry out a comprehensive analysis in three areas: studying the structure and powers, assessing the effectiveness of management processes, and checking compliance with legislation.
The results of the inspection will be used to reform the management and personnel policy of the Command of the Ground Forces. It is also planned to optimize management processes and implement new approaches to the training of military units.
Umerov noted that these changes are necessary for the new commander of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Major General Mykhailo Drapaty, to get a complete picture of the state of affairs.
