Mobilization of Men Over 50: New Guidelines Received by the TCC.

Ukrainian citizens were informed about the situation regarding the mobilization of men over the age of 50. This was reported by the head of the Cherkasy TCC, Oleg Tymoshenko.
Tymoshenko noted that previous reports stating that men aged 50-60 would no longer receive summons were true only at the Time of publication.
According to Ukrainian legislation, the age for conscription is up to 60 years, while specific cases are determined by the directives of the General Staff.
The fact is that there was previously a directive aimed at mobilizing individuals aged 25-49 for training centers and combat military units.
Tymoshenko also mentioned that men aged 50 and older who receive summons undergo medical assessments to determine their fitness for service. If they meet the requirements, they may be sent to training centers, support units, recruiting centers, repair brigades, communication units, vehicle units, and other non-combat roles.
Combat military units typically avoid recruiting individuals over 50 unless they possess critically important specialties. This is due to the physical demands of assault units.
President Zelensky also expressed his position regarding the mobilization of individuals starting from the age of 18.
