Zoryan Bazylevych, the great-grandfather of the sisters Bazylevich who died from a Russian strike, passed away at 95.


Zoryan Bazylevych passed away at the age of 94, the great-grandfather of sisters Yaryna, Daria, and Emilia Bazylevich, who died from a Russian missile strike last September. This was reported by the 'Hromadske' website.
The funeral service for the deceased will be held on March 3 at 7 PM at the Church of Saint Volodymyr the Equal-to-the-Apostles in Lviv.
Zoryan Bazylevych was also the nephew of the daughter-in-law of the writer Ivan Franko.
At the 'Franko House' museum, which also announced Bazylevych's death, they recalled how in 2021 he and his wife Bohdana visited the museum and 'generously shared interesting childhood memories about the Franko family and the memorial villa'.

It is reminded that as a result of the Russian attack on Lviv on September 4, seven people died, and 66 were injured, 10 of whom were children. Among the dead:
- Bazylevich Emilia - 7 years;
- Bazylevich Daryna - 18 years;
- Bazylevich Yaryna - 21 years;
- Bazylevich Yevheniya - 43 years;
