MP revealed unknown details about US permission for deep strikes in Russia.

Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on National Defense Issues Yegor Chernev said that the United States could grant Ukraine permission to use long-range weapons against Russia after the presidential elections. He stated this during a telethon.
According to Chernev, the caution of the United States, in particular, the Biden administration, is to avoid giving Trump grounds for speculation. Therefore, it is considered unlikely that permission will be granted to Ukraine before the elections.
"Today they (the US administration, – ed.) are very cautious. And, in particular, Biden – as a representative of the Democrats – does not want to give any grounds for Trump's speculations. Therefore, before the elections, I think that we are unlikely to be given anything," Chernev explained.
The deputy recalled the forecasts of British experts, who predicted the issuance of permission before winter, but he hopes for a faster decision. Chernev also noted that the decision on permission had already been practically made by the American side.
"I know from my congressman friends that the decision was already on the table... Something happened - either Russia under pressure took a step back, and therefore the United States did not grant us the permission," he said, adding that the reasons for the change in the situation remain unknown.
Despite the current uncertainty, Chernev expressed confidence that the issue remains relevant.
"Still, the permission is on the table. But so far the decision has not been made. Will this decision come before the elections? I'm not sure. But afterwards - quite likely," he said.
Let us recall that earlier in the Zelensky Office they talked about the reaction to the "Victory Plan" in Washington and the presence of permission for long-range strikes on Russia.
