Odessa became the epicenter of a night attack: there are casualties and destruction (photo).
On the night of November 9, the enemy attacked the Odessa region with an airstrike, reported the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Unfortunately, on this night, the Russians launched 51 Shahed-type strike drones and an unidentified type drone from the areas of Primorsko-Akhtarsk and Oryol - Russia.
The military units of Ukraine, particularly the anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare units, mobile fire groups of the Air Forces and the Defense Forces of Ukraine, managed to repel this air attack.
According to the latest information, 32 enemy drones were shot down in different regions of Ukraine, particularly in the Odessa, Mykolaiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, Donetsk, Sumy, Kharkiv, Poltava, Vinnytsia, Cherkasy, and Ternopil regions. Also, 18 enemy drone locations were lost.
The information on damages in the territory of Odessa is being clarified. According to the city council, several buildings and premises were damaged as a result of the attack, but there is no information on casualties yet.
It is also worth mentioning that the Russians inflicted 417 strikes on 14 settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region.
In turn, the Russian Ministry of Defense stated that 50 drones were also shot down over their territory.
