Modernization of ZSU Military Payments - What to Expect in August.


In August 2025, Ukrainian servicemen can expect a salary consisting of a base salary, allowances, bonuses, and premiums. Additionally, there is an indexation of payments planned for the next month.
The salary in the Ukrainian army is individual for each serviceman and depends on several factors, such as position, military rank, duration and intensity of service, and the conditions of military service.
- The minimum payment in 2025 will be UAH 20,130.
- The maximum amount depends on the specifics of each military's service, the type of troops, personal contribution, and individual indicators.
Some servicemen are entitled to rewards for completing certain tasks. For example, those who perform combat missions outside combat zones can receive an additional payment of UAH 30,000.
There are also bonuses for destroyed enemy equipment, rewards for service in 'hot spots,' and other additional payments for fulfilling official duties.
Modernization of Payments in ZSU in August
Payment indexation in the country may occur if consumer price index exceeds the indexation threshold of 103%. In July, the inflation index for June was 100.8%. This affects the level of salary indexation in August.
In August, for those who use January of the current year as the base month, the indexation coefficient will be 4.4%, and the maximum indexation amount will be UAH 133.
There will also be bonuses for Ukrainian servicemen and monthly payments of UAH 8,000 for knights of the Order of 'Courage.'
