Ukraine and Hungary will begin regular consultations on May 12 to remove all of Budapest's reservations for the start of negotiations on Ukraine's accession to the EU. This was reported by 'Glavkom' citing a statement made during a television marathon. In Dnipropetrovsk region, the Security Service revealed the organizers of the scheme for supplying defective mortar shells to the front. The SBU detained the general director of the defense plant Leonid Shyman and his first deputy Oleksiy Kyrychenko, who supplied a batch of defective mines to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. It is worth noting that Shyman became a Hero of Ukraine in 2013 for his contribution to the development of Ukraine's industrial potential. The National Bank recognized the business reputation of Petro Poroshenko as not impeccable due to previously imposed sanctions. Poroshenko owns shares in the International Investment Bank. The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces instructed to conduct a check in the territorial recruiting centers for the presence of individuals with combat experience. Military personnel without it and with health issues will be sent to combat zones. The Cabinet of Ministers appointed three deputy heads of the Ministry of Defense to strengthen the management team of the department. Lieutenant General Mykola Shevtsov and Oleksandr Kozenko were appointed as deputy ministers of defense for logistics and procurement. Serhiy Boyev became the first deputy minister of defense. Analyzing the material, one can conclude that Ukraine continues to actively work on its accession to the EU. Consultations with Hungary are an important step in this direction. Cases of supplying defective mortar shells to the front were also revealed, resulting in the detention of the leadership of the defense plant. The National Bank recognized the business reputation of Petro Poroshenko as not impeccable, which may affect his business affairs. Employees of the TCK without combat experience will be sent to the front, which may improve the work of these centers. The Cabinet of Ministers also changed the composition of the deputies to strengthen the governance of the ministry.
