Vinnytsia Police Stop Criminal Activity of Inter-Regional Drug Dealer (video).


A Drug Dealer Was Arrested in Mohyliv-Podilskyi District
A local resident of one of the villages in the Mohyliv-Podilskyi district organized a drug laboratory where he produced amphetamine, cannabis, and psilocybin mushrooms. He also grew elite varieties of cannabis and distributed the obtained drugs through postal shipments and messengers.
Police established that over the course of a month, the criminal could produce up to 3 kg of drugs and grow approximately 1000 drug plants, with his income amounting to 200,000 hryvnias per month.
On the land plot where the cannabis cultivation took place, police officers seized more than 500 cannabis plants.
Police arrested the 30-year-old drug dealer and conducted searches at his facility, which was equipped with a drug laboratory, and at his residence. As a result, 5 kg of cannabis, spores of hallucinogenic mushrooms, precursor phenyl nitropropane, laboratory equipment, chemical reagents, packaging materials, and mobile phones were seized.
Police also managed to establish that the drug dealer grew cannabis on a specially equipped land plot. He tended to the plants using an irrigation system, and during the ripening of the plants, he lived in a tent.
The perpetrator was informed of the suspicion of illegal production and sale of drugs and cannabis cultivation. He faces up to ten years of imprisonment with confiscation of property.
Further investigations are ongoing, aimed at uncovering other individuals involved in the illegal drug trade.
