In Honor of Oleksandr Kravchuk

Every day at 9 AM, Ukrainians pay tribute to all whose lives were taken by the Russian-Ukrainian war. Today, we remember Oleksandr Kravchuk.

29-year-old soldier Oleksandr Kravchuk was killed on May 5, 2025, in the Toretsk direction. This was reported by 'Hlavcom' with reference to the Rivne City Council.

Oleksandr was born on August 31, 1995, in Rivne. He studied at school No. 28 and later transferred to sports school No. 26, as he was seriously engaged in football and played in the junior league of the 'Veres' club. After school, he graduated from the Rivne College of Economics and Business.

Before the war, he worked as a cook in the restaurant 'Brovarnya na Hrushevskogo'.

In March 2023, he voluntarily joined the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He believed that this was his calling from God, so he did not look for ways to avoid military service.

In April of this year, he rescued a seriously injured comrade under fire.

Unfortunately, 29-year-old soldier Oleksandr Kravchuk was killed on May 5, 2025, in the Toretsk direction.

Oleksandr was a kind, sincere, caring man and father. He always put his family first, protected and supported them above all. He was a member of the Evangelical Church in Zdolbuniv 'Source of Life,' the Rivne City Council reported.

The defender of Ukraine was buried at the Heroes Alley of the 'Nove' cemetery in Rivne.

The hero is survived by his wife, a three-year-old daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, and brother.

'Hlavcom' joins in a moment of silence. We honor the memory of all Ukrainians who lost their lives in the struggle for their homeland. We remember those who fell at the hands of Russian invaders, lighting candles in memory and bowing our heads in grief during the national minute of silence, honoring the bright memory of citizens of Ukraine who gave their lives for the freedom and independence of the state: all military personnel, civilians, and children, all who died in the fight against the Russian occupiers and as a result of the aggression of hostile troops against Ukrainian cities and villages.

Oleksandr Kravchuk is a true hero who made sacrifices for a free and independent Ukraine. His act of devotion and courage will always remain in the hearts of his compatriots.
