The representative of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Colonel Pavlo Palisa, shared with Politico new ambitious plans of Russian leader Vladimir Putin regarding the occupation of Ukrainian territories.

According to information from Ukrainian military intelligence, Russia intends to capture all territories of our country east of the Dnipro River and to block access to the Black Sea by 2026.

'Russia also plans to seize the southern regions of Ukraine, Odesa and Mykolaiv, to deprive Ukrainians of access to the Black Sea – an important route for the export of Ukrainian grain,' the publication noted.

Colonel Palisa, who is at the Ukrainian embassy in Washington, will reveal details of Russia's plans for a phased occupation. The first stage will be the capture of Donetsk and Luhansk regions this fall, after which a buffer zone will be created along the border with Russia.

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha reported on failed negotiations in Istanbul, where Russia refused to resolve the conflict peacefully. He urged Russia to respond to Ukraine's proposals and condemned the silence of the Russian side, which he said indicates the continuation of the war.
