Over 20 thousand people in Zaporizhzhia were left without electricity due to the Russian attack.

The Russian missile attack destroyed Zaporizhzhia's infrastructure
On the night of January 23, Zaporizhzhia was attacked by missiles from Russia, resulting in serious damage to the city. This was reported by the head of the Zaporizhzhia regional administration, Ivan Fedorov.
According to Fedorov, the destroyed power supply left more than 20 thousand subscribers without electricity, and over 17 thousand people remained without heating.
Currently, energy workers and utilities are working at the limit of their capabilities to connect the population to the power supply. More than 5 thousand consumers have already been connected. The operation of the boiler house, which provides heating for more than 100 houses, has also been restored.
Fedorov noted that by the morning of January 24, all residents would receive heat and electricity supply.
During the attack, one person died, and 52 were injured, including a two-month-old infant. Residents heard a series of loud explosions at 04:11. Fedorov reported that at least four explosions were heard. Four DSNS employees were also injured and hospitalized.
