A young Russian citizen Kirill Dizenko from the Krasnodar Krai decided to avoid imprisonment in a prison and surrender to the Ukrainian Armed Forces. After signing a contract in 2025, his actions and testimony were recorded on video.
After a seven-day training, we decided to retreat. We were put in a cage and started to be beaten with sticks for leaving our position, Dizenko said.
On the front line, in the New York area of the Donetsk region, the Russian was injured during shelling. After receiving medical assistance, he decided to surrender to the Ukrainian paratroopers, noting the injustice of the actions of the Russian military command.
Conclusion
A young Russian occupier from the Krasnodar Krai surrendered to the Ukrainian military after events on the front line. His action indicates a rise in desertion and distrust of the command among the Russian troops in the conflict zone in Donbas.
