Ammunition Supply: Zelensky Announced a Major Contract in Czech Republic.

President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that Ukraine plans to receive 1.8 million artillery shells this year. According to him, such a quantity of ammunition will be 'a very important decision' in the context of the war.
'This year we hope for effective cooperation. We agreed on 1.8 million shells. This is a very important decision at the moment,' the president noted.
Volodymyr Zelensky also announced a planned meeting with representatives of Czech defense companies. Preparations for it are already underway, and specific issues regarding the supply of military equipment will be discussed.
We remind you that in April 2024, the Czech Republic announced its initiative to purchase 800,000 artillery shells for Ukraine from third world countries.
As part of this initiative, 'Ukrainian Armored Vehicles' will cooperate with Czech weapon manufacturer Czechoslovak Group (CSG) to produce 155-millimeter artillery ammunition in Ukraine.
Earlier, the Prime Minister of the Czech Republic, along with the heads of government of Denmark and the Netherlands, agreed to continue the procurement program for large-caliber ammunition for Ukraine in 2025.
It should be noted that as part of the Czech initiative to raise funds for the purchase of drones for Ukraine, over 203 million Czech crowns (over 8 million euros) have been raised.
