Supermarkets raised fish prices in August
According to the Minfin portal, prices for some types of fish in supermarkets have increased. However, some items have decreased in value.
As of August 4, the price of live carp decreased from 189.92 UAH/kg to 184.36 UAH/kg. The price of gutted carp has slightly increased and now stands at 214.00 UAH/kg.
Lightly salted herring has risen in price from 152.03 UAH/kg to 167.00 UAH/kg. However, in some supermarkets, it can be purchased for 185.00 UAH/kg (MegaMarket), and the cheapest is 149.00 UAH/kg in the Novus chain.
The price of fresh-frozen mackerel has increased from 174.18 UAH/kg to 185.00 UAH/kg.
Earlier it was reported that abnormal heat could affect the cost of potatoes and other vegetables.
