Intelligence Identified the DPRK Engineer Helping to Shell Ukraine.

Soldier from Photo Next to Kim Jong Un Participates in Combat in Donbas on Russia's Side
The National Intelligence Service of South Korea confirmed that the soldier who stood next to North Korean leader Kim Jong Un in August of last year is currently actively participating in combat operations at the front in Ukraine on the side of Russia.
This was established using facial recognition technology based on artificial intelligence, writes Maeil Business Newspaper.
On October 18, the National Intelligence Service reported: "Thanks to cooperation with Ukrainian intelligence agencies, we recently received photos of suspected North Korean soldiers who are believed to be operating at the front in Ukraine on the side of Russian forces".
The North Korean soldier identified by intelligence was recently spotted in a photograph with a Russian serviceman at the launch site of the KN-23 missile (the North Korean version of the "Iskander") near the Donetsk region.
The soldier was dressed in Russian military uniform, but intelligence stated that after applying their own AI-based facial recognition technology, he was identified as a North Korean missile engineer who accompanied Kim during a visit to the North Korean tactical missile manufacturing plant in August of last year.
The National Intelligence Service added: "The similarity in characteristics in facial recognition using AI showed over 80%, which effectively means it is the same person".
Intelligence also analyzed: "North Korean missile engineers sent to the front in Ukraine support the launch of North Korean-made missiles, and thus appear to be trying to identify technical issues and acquire additional technologies".
Recall that earlier, the U.S. sharply commented on Russia's recruitment of North Koreans for the war in Ukraine.
