Former US President Jimmy Carter died at the age of one hundred. He was the longest-serving president in US history. The cause of death has not been disclosed, but it is known that he was undergoing treatment for skin cancer. Carter was known as a human rights advocate, but his presidency faced criticism. He served as president from 1977 to 1981.
In Croatia, a pro-Russian candidate received the most votes in the presidential elections. The incumbent president received more than half of the votes. The results of the first exit polls confirm the predictions and pre-election surveys.
The State Bureau of Investigation detained the commander of the 211th brigade, who is known for the abuse of soldiers. The commander's name has not been disclosed, but it is known that he was the commander of a pontoon-bridge brigade. An investigation is currently underway regarding this matter.
