Supermarkets have changed prices for carp, herring, and mackerel: which fish has become more affordable.

Supermarkets showed fresh fish prices in the second half of October.

According to the portal Minfin, fish prices in October 2024 have changed. Fish is a popular product among many people due to its beneficial properties and delicious taste.

Live carp has become cheaper by 33.63 UAH, and gutted carp has decreased in price by 25 UAH. Prices for herring and mackerel remained almost unchanged with a slight increase.

The cost of live carp amounted to 145.50 UAH/kg (previously - 179.13 UAH/kg), and gutted - 204.00 UAH/kg (previously - 229.00 UAH/kg).

Herring slightly increased in price by 1.52 UAH, and fresh-frozen mackerel increased by 1.71 UAH.

The cost of herring is 171.00 UAH/kg (previously - 169.48 UAH/kg), and mackerel - 179.00 UAH/kg (previously - 177.29 UAH/kg).

It is worth noting that prices can vary significantly in different stores. For example, the lowest price for lightly salted herring is 149.00 UAH, and the highest is 185.00 UAH, which is a difference of 36 UAH.
