The priest-blogger talked about the most strange superstitions he heard from parishioners.

Priest Oleksiy Filiuk from the Ternopil diocese of the OCU spoke about superstitions that come from Russian Orthodox traditions. Online media Glavkom conveys the words of the priest.
Priest Oleksiy Filiuk gave examples of church superstitions that some people still believe. For example, some people believe that if a child is named after someone who does not have a name in the church calendar, they will not have a guardian angel. The priest explained that this belief is unfounded, as every person born has a guardian angel.
The priest Oleksiy Filiuk also talked about some funny questions that parishioners ask him. For example, can you fart in church if you wear a short skirt? He also recalled an incident when a girl asked him to convince her father not to wear a wedding ring after his wife's death. The priest answered that there are no reasons to prohibit this.
Earlier, priest Oleksiy Filiuk decided to use social media to spread sermons and dispel church superstitions. He emphasized that with his experience of communicating with parishioners online, his authority on the internet will not be harmed. According to him, it is important to be yourself and work to achieve results.
