The TCK is accused of the death of a Hungarian citizen - comment from the Land Forces.


Hungarian media reported the death of Hungarian citizen József Sebeshteni in the TCK in the Transcarpathian region. However, in reality, he did not have Hungarian citizenship.
The information about his death was spread on July 10. The man was beaten to death for refusing to go to war, after which he died from his injuries.
Reports on two versions of József Sebeshteni's death were published by the Mandiner publication. According to the first, the man was mobilized to a military brigade, where he was beaten and died. The other version states that he was hospitalized in a psychiatric hospital, where he died from a thrombus.
The Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine noted that József Sebeshteni was a citizen of Ukraine. He was medically recognized as fit for military service but deserted his place of service and later died in the hospital due to thromboembolism. The forensic examination confirmed this version.
