On July 6, an incident occurred in the Baltic Sea – a helicopter crashed between the islands of Vilsandi and Saaremaa. All people on board survived without being in danger. This was reported by the publications 'Glavcom' and ERR.

Emergency landing and rescue

According to the Police and Border Guard Department, the helicopter lost altitude due to entering the clouds and performed an emergency landing on the water. The helicopter overturned but remained afloat thanks to automatic floats.

There were seven people on board – five adults and two children. They all independently evacuated from the helicopter and awaited help. Sea rescuers transported the victims to the port of Vikat, where they were examined and it was established that no one was seriously injured.

As a result, all victims were rescued and no one sustained serious injuries. The further circumstances of the incident remain unknown.

According to reports, the helicopter lost altitude, leading to an emergency landing on the water. Fortunately, everyone on board survived and were rescued, without being in danger. Medical examination confirmed that none of the victims sustained serious injuries during the incident.
