A Russian commentator from a propaganda television channel ended up in intensive care after being beaten.

Russian sports commentator Roman Skvortsov, who works for the 'Match TV' channel, suffered an incident and was taken to the intensive care unit of a hospital in Novosibirsk. This was reported on February 9 by Russian propagandist Dmitry Guberniev.
According to Arthur Khairullin, a journalist, the commentator was possibly beaten on the street, and Baza reports that he was found near an establishment on Krasny Avenue. It is likely that a conflict occurred with a group of young people who were at this location.
Skvortsov himself does not remember what happened.
It is worth noting that the All-Star Match of the Russian Kontinental Hockey League was taking place in Novosibirsk.
Alexander Tashchin, the general director of 'Match TV', stated that he is providing all necessary assistance to Roman Skvortsov.
On February 4, it was decided to exclude the Russian national hockey team from participating in the 2026 World Championship. A decision regarding the Russian national team’s participation in the Olympic hockey tournament in 2026 has not yet been made.
The International Canoe Federation will check the 'neutral' status of Russian athlete Alsu Minazova following a request from a Ukrainian journalist, as stated by ICF President Tomas Konecny. The information will be verified and submitted for consideration by the ICF committee.
It is worth noting that Alsu Minazova had previously participated in propaganda events alongside Kabirow and Lavrov. These two individuals have been sanctioned by many countries for supporting Russian aggression against Ukraine.
Additionally, the athlete liked a post by Putin on Instagram.
