The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine on September 9 summoned the chargé d'affaires of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Ukraine, Shahriyar Amuzegar, due to reports of possible supplies of ballistic missiles from Iran to Russia.
This was reported by the MFA.
During the meeting, the Ukrainian side expressed serious concern about this. The Iranian diplomat was given the relevant comment from the MFA of Ukraine dated September 7.
In a strict form, the representative of Iran was given a warning about the consequences of possible arms supplies. The MFA of Ukraine emphasized that confirmation of the fact of Iran supplying ballistic weapons to Russia would have devastating and irreversible consequences for Ukrainian-Iranian relations.
