Yevhen spoke about the 'mystical science' of songwriting that he inherited from his father. The interview was published by 'Glavkom'.

Yevhen acknowledged that his path to success was full of challenges, as he was always alongside a world star - his father. Despite this 'competition' and the lack of any material or administrative support, Yevhen feels immense gratitude to his father for what he called the 'mystical science of writing popular and folk songs'. The example of Yuriy Rybcynskiy continues to inspire Yevhen.

'At that Time, I was inspired by the competition with a recognized and brilliant father, rather than love, passion, and suffering. I wanted to write something incredible, so that my father would envy it, no matter how funny that may sound', - confessed Yevhen.

This 'competition' became the main source of inspiration for Yevhen in his most successful works. Instead of romantic or tragic motives, the element of creativity was Yuriy Rybcynskiy himself.

Yevhen also shared about his independent life, work, and achievements. He noted that at a certain point in his life, he felt a dissonance in his relationship with his father.

When asked about support from his father, Yevhen categorically replied in the negative. He also shared his opinion that his father's enemies played their role in his life, making him stronger and wiser.

On May 22, the outstanding poet and songwriter Yuriy Rybcynskiy celebrated his 80th birthday, and the President of Ukraine awarded him the Order of Prince Yaroslav the Wise of the IV degree on this occasion.
