KNDS Opens Subsidiary in Kyiv
The French-German conglomerate KNDS has opened a subsidiary in Kyiv under the name KNDS Ukraine LLC. The main goal of the enterprise is to support cooperation between Ukrainian government agencies and Ukrainian defense-industrial companies.
According to KNDS representatives, Ukraine is one of the most important industrial partners of the conglomerate, as it utilizes or has contracted nearly 800 units of French-German manufactured armaments on the front lines. Therefore, the subsidiary KNDS Ukraine LLC will provide the Ukrainian industry with assistance in technical maintenance, repair, and overhaul of armaments.
KNDS and the Ukrainian industry also plan joint production in Ukraine of 155-mm artillery munitions and spare parts.
Ukraine utilizes or has contracted nearly 800 units of armaments, as well as munitions produced by the French-German conglomerate. This makes it one of the most important industrial partners.
Additionally, KNDS manufactures Leopard 1 and Leopard 2 tanks, CAESAR and PzH 2000 artillery systems, AMX 10RC armored vehicles.
