Ukrainian drivers may lose their licenses due to the widespread habit of 'flashing' headlights, which can lead to fines in other countries. In Poland, for example, using headlights to alert about police or road hazards incurs a fine of 200 zlotys and 4 penalty points. This is particularly important for drivers with a PESEL number, as they have a points accumulation system, and when they accumulate 24 points, they may lose their license. Therefore, even with the innocent practice of warnings, there can be serious consequences for those who frequently drive to Poland. New rules for drivers are also expected in Ukraine.
