Everything is burning: Kuyun reacted to the change in gasoline composition from May 1.

Starting May 1, the composition of gasoline in Ukraine will change, as announced by the director of A-95 company, Serhiy Kuyun. He noted that this approach has been applied in Europe for 15 years, but is being launched in Ukraine with a delay. The addition of bio-components to gasoline and diesel fuel is a norm in Europe, but this process is just beginning in Ukraine. Kuyun emphasized the importance of paying special attention to the quality of alcohol that will be used. He warned about the need to cleanse reservoirs at oil depots, gas stations, and fuel trucks from water, as it may reduce the quality of the fuel.
These changes in gasoline composition may impact fuel sales at gas stations in Ukraine. This is related to the introduction of new environmental norms and quality standards for fuel.
