The launch of the new entry system to the EU countries has been postponed for the third time.

The launch of the new "entry-exit" system for individuals crossing the borders of the Schengen zone will be postponed by the European Union. It is expected that the foreign ministers of the EU countries will propose alternative options, such as implementing the system gradually at each checkpoint or collecting biometric data using a mobile application. The EU authorities call this situation a "mess" and are seeking compromise solutions to "save face".
It was initially planned that the new system would come into effect on November 10. However, due to the unpreparedness of the EU states for changes, its launch has been postponed again. This system guaranteed more effective migration control and the fight against terrorism by collecting fingerprints or photographs.
