The Armed Forces of Ukraine have updated the basic general military training program
The Armed Forces of Ukraine changed the basic general military training program to reduce the burden on servicemen. The decision was made by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and took effect on May 1st. The changes include reducing the duration of training to one month, lowering the physical workload, and forming separate training units. These changes apply to both recruits and those who have previously undergone training or are going through it again. Additionally, the government allocated extra funds to improve the training centers and military units of the Armed Forces.
Additional funding to strengthen the material and technical base
At a meeting on training in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, 1.2 billion hryvnias were allocated to improve the material and technical base of training centers and military units of the Ground Forces. The General Staff of the Armed Forces emphasized the necessity of updating the basic general military training program to enhance its effectiveness and reduce intensity for servicemen. Such changes will also facilitate the staffing of units in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
