Released from captivity Kharkiv residents will receive financial assistance.


In Kharkiv region, another 28 people who were released from captivity will receive financial assistance. This decision was made at a meeting of the commission on the provision of one-Time targeted financial assistance to residents of the region who are in difficult life circumstances.
This was reported by the deputy head of the Kharkiv regional military-civil administration Vita Kovalska.
The commission reviewed 358 citizen appeals. One-time targeted financial assistance, which is provided from the regional budget due to difficult financial circumstances caused by extraordinary events, will be received by 322 people for a total amount of 4.8 million hryvnias. In particular, 28 people who were held captive due to the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine will be paid 1.4 million hryvnias - each will receive 50 thousand hryvnias.
"Despite the challenges of full-scale war, we continue to support the residents of the region who need special attention and assistance. This area of work is under the constant control of the head of the Kharkiv regional military-civil administration Oleg Synehubov. We help our residents recover their health so that they can return to normal life as soon as possible," said Vita Kovalska.
