Occupants struck Kryvyi Rih with ballistic missiles: nine children died (updated).


Yesterday, Russian forces again attacked Kryvyi Rih with a missile, resulting in several deaths and injuries. This was reported by the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military-Civil Administration, Serhiy Lysak. In total, at least 16 people died, including six children. More than 60 people were injured. As a result of the attack, fires broke out in the city, houses, cars, as well as public catering and educational establishments were damaged. Emergency services and a humanitarian headquarters are working at the scene.
According to the head of the city's defense council, Oleksandr Vilkul, the attack occurred in the center of a residential area, near a children's playground. Currently, 18 dead and 56 injured have been reported, including nine children. A search and rescue operation is ongoing.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky urged the global community to exert appropriate pressure on Russia to stop its aggression. According to him, only pressure from the world can force Russia to end the war. The President also called on international partners to seriously respond to the ongoing shelling by Russia, which harms international efforts to end the conflict.
Russian attacks on Ukrainian cities continue and bring much suffering to the civilian population. The situation in the east of the country remains tense, and the prospects for resolving the conflict are uncertain.
