Easter Truce: Zelensky Named the Condition for Full Silence on the Front.

Zelensky is Ready to Act in Response to the Actions of the Russian Federation
The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, stated that Ukraine is ready to join the format of a complete ceasefire and will act in response to the actions of the Russian Federation, meaning 'silence in response to silence, strikes for defense against strikes.'
According to Zelensky, if Russia is genuinely ready to join the format of full and unconditional silence, Ukraine will act accordingly - as will be dictated by the Russian side.
Zelensky proposes to extend the 'Easter truce' if silence truly prevails.
'Silence in response to silence, strikes for defense against strikes. So if complete silence indeed prevails, Ukraine proposes to extend it beyond the end of Easter on April 20. This will demonstrate Russia's true intentions, as 30 hours is sufficient for headlines, but not for real confidence-building measures. Thirty days could give peace a chance,' said the President of Ukraine.
Artillery Continues to Fire in Some Areas of the Front
The President noted that while Russian assault actions and shelling continue in some areas of the front. 'Therefore, there is no trust in the words from Moscow. We know too well how Moscow manipulates and are always ready for anything. The Ukrainian defense forces will act rationally, mirroring the responses. For every Russian strike, there will be a sufficient response,' Zelensky stated.
Recall that the Russian side allegedly halts all military actions from 18:00 on April 19 to 00:00 on April 21. This was announced by the dictator Vladimir Putin.
Also, in the evening of April 19, an air raid alert was declared in Kyiv due to the threat of drones.
Additionally, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky commented on the truce announced by the Russian dictator Vladimir Putin.
